"Terrible customer service. Good luck getting them on the phone. I talked with a “rep” on Thursday, said he would call me back on Friday, no later than Monday. Guess who didn’t get a call back? Me! I called multiple times on Thursday, Friday, and Monday never received a call back. When they canceled my insurance? Never called. They claimed to have call but couldn’t leave a voicemail, send a text or an email, NOTHING. But they were quick to send me a text when they wanted to pull the money out of my bank account on the 21st of every month. Told me that everything was fine with my insurance, enrolled me in State Farm Drive safe and save without my permission. Then I had to call back multiple times to find out that it was sent on “accident” and they couldn’t renew my insurance. How long has the rep known? Since FRIDAY!!! No call, no text, no communication at all from this State Farm. Save yourself the headache and use another State Farm Agent or company! Try Irene Sission, they were great. Should’ve stayed with them instead of making the switch."

The holidays did affect our hours as we were closed for Juneteenth. That could be where the issues lies however we haven’t been able to fix this as you have transferred your business to another office."

"We have been customers of Corey Jones State Farm for many years and we always had excellent personalized service. This all changed in the last few months when we had a new agent assigned to our policy. This agent was unprofessional and unresponsive.
We needed to make some changes to my daughter's auto insurance policy. After the initial phone call, that was weeks before her current policy expired, we walked our new agent through what was needed. We thought everything was setup but we never received any documentation. We had to follow up with our new agent multiple times because the agent never followed through and started the policy. To make matters worse, every time we talked with this agent it was like the first time we ever talked. The agent had no notes or any idea about what we needed. Every phone call took an inordinate amount of time bringing the agent back up to speed, even if we had talked a couple of days earlier.
On the day my daughter's current policy was expiring we had to contact the agent again and after multiple phone calls the agent told me and my daughter that her new policy was setup and she was insured. My daughter even received some email notification about the new policy but never received her proof of insurance cards and I was not billed. After a little bit of time, I decided to follow up because I never received a bill. The agent then informed me that they could not insure my daughter and had the audacity to claim he left me and my daughter multiple messages. Its not 1990, I can look at my phone and see that was a lie. Add dishonesty to the above adjectives.
This agent told me and my daughter that she was insured and then proceeded to let her drive uninsured! He never made any attempt to contact us. Terrible!
I requested to talk to Corey directly about this matter and was never contacted.
I would avoid Corey Jones State Farm and find other insurance. One star because I could not give a zero."

"Once we were linked to Jen P at this office, we finally had someone to "bridge the gap" for us and be our liaison to underwriting regarding our roof that they insisted needed to be replaced. She was sensitive, understanding, and attentive to our situation and instrumental in getting our homeowner's coverage reinstated after the replacement was done."

"I received a terrible service. Two weeks ago I sent an email because the monthly payment of my policy increased by 100%!!! No one responded to my emails and when I called, they told me they would review my policy and call me back a never happened. On my last call they told me they wouldn't make any changes because canceling a car insurance policy changed my premium. However I never received any notification about the premium change, no one explained it to me, and they didn't honor the contract I received when I signed up. Honestly not only is State Farm insurance very expensive, but you also don't receive good service"

Hi Daniela — this is Corey, the agent/owner. First, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration you’ve experienced. This is not the level of communication or service my agency is known for, and I take your concerns very seriously.

I’d really like the opportunity to review your policy personally and make this right. When a vehicle is added or removed, it can cause a rate change under Virginia’s rating guidelines, but you absolutely should have received a clear explanation and timely follow-up. The fact that you didn’t hear back from us is not acceptable, and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention.

Please reach out to me directly or I can contact you myself this week to go over the details, correct any misunderstandings, and ensure your policy is set up exactly the way you intended.
